Yard Sale Event

Yard/Boot Sale on Saturday July 24th from 10am to 1pm.

Villagers are welcome to set up their goods in their front gardens and wander from neighbour to neighbour to explore many various wonderful items.

A list of addresses will be available for collection from The White Hart Pub in Hackleton from 10am, parking is available at the pub if needed, please stop by for a chat and a cold drink.

Roade Community Food Larder

Hackleton Parish Council has access to the above. If you are aware of anyone struggling to get enough food please get in touch to apply. Eligibility includes people who are self-isolating or shielding, those on a reduced or low-income, and people unable to get to the shops due to ill health or disability.

VE Day Celebrations

We are really looking forward to our community celebrations which will take place on Friday 8th May 2020 to commemorate VE day. We hope to bring the whole of the Parish together for a picnic and fun filled traditional fete on Longland Meadow from noon. Water and Road Update

Anglian Water has carried out repair work in Piddington. You may experience white or cloudy water this is nothing to be concerned about and should settle out if left.

Dues to a water leak the Preston Deanery Road is shut to through traffic until 25th January for essential repairs.

You will see the new noticeboards are now installed. Most have a public access bay on the righthand side. The Parish Council would like to encourage Parish organisations to use these bays to publicise events. Please feel free to add you posters.
