VE Day Celebrations

We are really looking forward to our community celebrations which will take place on Friday 8th May 2020 to commemorate VE day. We hope to bring the whole of the Parish together for a picnic and fun filled traditional fete on Longland Meadow from noon. Burglary Hackleton

There has been a report of a burglary to a property in Great Lane, Hackleton.

This took place between 10:00am on Thursday 23rd January and 11:00am on Monday 27th January 2020.

Water and Road Update

Anglian Water has carried out repair work in Piddington. You may experience white or cloudy water this is nothing to be concerned about and should settle out if left.

Dues to a water leak the Preston Deanery Road is shut to through traffic until 25th January for essential repairs.

Vehicle Crime - Hackleton

There have been a spate of vehicle crimes over recent days in the Parish particularly involving vans. The police have advised wherever possible to remove tools and take inside premises or reverse the vehicle close to a wall or garage doors to make it difficult for any theft to take place.

Could you volunteer for Community Speed Watch?

More than 770 volunteers across Northamptonshire have been helping to improve road safety after taking part in the 2019 Community Speed Watch programme.

The volunteers from 62 Community Speed Watch groups gave up their spare time to work alongside the Northamptonshire Safer Roads Alliance to reduce speeding across the county.
