Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Tuesday 17th May at 6:30pm until 8pm in Coffee@Carey. Please come along to hear about the celebrations planned for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, details of the outdoor gym and running track to be installed on Hackleton Recreation Ground, reports from local organisations. Enjoy a chance to catch up and have a chat over FREE REFRESHMENTS.

The hedge is in a very poor state (see photograph) with many bare areas. In order to rejuvenate it we are arranging for the worst section which is nearer to the School to be coppiced (hedge to be cut off close to the ground). Emergency closure for Denton Road, Horton from Anglian Water. The road will be closed from 9th February 2022 for 7 days for burst main repairs. Please see the plan below showing the extent of the closure and the diversion route.

Piddington Cemetery

All remaining Christmas items will be removed and disposed of from the Piddington Cemetery week commencing 7th February. Please remove any items which you wish to retain.

Please also remember that no plastic can be left in the Cemetery and this includes artificial flowers. All cellophane etc. should be removed from fresh flowers and disposed of in the black bin.
