BRAND NEW PLAY EQUIPMENT FOR HACKLETON RECREATION GROUND
The Parish Council is delighted to confirm that a brand-new play area is coming to Hackleton Recreation Ground. The new equipment will offer high play value with more than 50 activities for children 0-12 years. The new equipment includes a zip-wire, swings, seesaw, multi-activity units and much more – see graphic for full details. The equipment will replace the rather old and outdated play area except for the existing slide and roundabout which will be retained due to them being traditional and much loved by recent generations.
The new play equipment will be mainly funded through Community Infrastructure Levy funds with the balance from the Parish Council. The tender process has been completed and an order placed with HAGS Limited. Installation is expected to start sometime in June.
Having delivered the outdoor gym and running track this will be another amazing resource for our community aimed at increasing our children's physical activity, confidence, self-esteem and creativity.
