Surfacing work to Newport Pagnell Road

The Parish Council has been in much correspondence with Highways regarding the failed and potentially dangerous surface on the Main Road.

Works between Hackleton and Horton are currently scheduled for 6 June 09.00-17.00. This will then be followed by a sweep under a closure on 7 June with another sweep on 11 June, where a full closure required.

Notice of Uncontested Election - Hackleton Ward. Statement of Persons Nominated - Piddington Ward.

Hackleton Parish is divided into two Wards. Hackleton Ward is Hackleton and Horton. Piddington Ward is Piddington, Preston Deanery, St George's Fields and part of Wootton Fields.

Hackleton Ward will have an uncontested election on 6th May 2021 with six persons nominated to fill the six seats available.

Piddington Ward will go to election with six persons nominated for five seats.

Hackleton - Burglary

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for information regarding a burglary from a construction site adjacent to the Newport Pagnell Road where unknown persons have broken into a site office/storage and have taken items.

This happened between the hours of 16.30 on the 17th and 07.30 on the 18th February 2021.
