A three times a week shopper service to Tesco Mereway and Northampton Town Centre. Also calling at Waitrose Wootton, B&Q, Aldi and Lidl and Northampton General Hospital on request with Pickups from Horton, Hackleton and Piddington

£4.65 each way

The service operates Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

departing 09:30 and returning 12:00 from Town centre

HACKLETON BUS SERVICE CUTS

Hackleton Parish Council would like to thank those of you who were able to attend the Parish Council meeting on Tuesday 20th November, as well as those of you who have telephoned or emailed your concerns regarding the pending cuts to the bus service in the Parish following Stagecoaches decision to withdraw the service stating it was no longer commercially viable to operate given the number of users.

Whilst the service may not be commercially viable the Parish Council recognises that the bus service is a lifeline for many within the community as it allows access to facilities such as shops; medical establishments; educational organisations; and employment etc.

If you are a user of the current bus service would you please take a few moments to email the Clerk at clerk@hackletonparishcouncil.gov.uk and advise the frequency that you use the bus service; times of day; and the impact the cuts to the bus service will have on you and / or your family.

The Parish Council is working hard to lobby and negotiate with organisations and other authorities regarding options but needs your input.
